Notice on Registration and Course Selection of Graduate Auditors for 2021-2022 Fall Semester

Respective partner institutions and graduate auditors,

In the 2021-2022 Fall Semester, Shanghai Jiao Tong University will continue to accept graduate students from partner institutions to audit graduate courses in our school. The registration and audit procedures are as follows: (1) Student registration; (2) Graduate school review; (3) Students apply for a jAccount account; (4) Course selection; (5) Payment for audit fees; (6) Graduate school confirms the success of the course selection; (7) ) Participate in course study and assessment; (8) Apply for transcripts.

The registration and course selection arrangements are as follows:

Registration

1. Time: 12:00, Sep 10th, 2021--20:00, Sep 19th, 2021

2. Online registration: Login www.gs.sjtu.edu.cn and submit the application through "Inter-School Joint Student Application for Auditor"-Auditor (http://yjs.sjtu.edu.cn/gsapp/sys/xwryzcapp/*default/index.do#/xwryzc).

3. The Auditor Program only accepts applications of graduate students from research institutes or universities that have a cooperative relationship with SJTU and have been filed and approved. When registering, please select your institution and upload materials as required (front and back of your ID card, letter of introduction from your institution).

4. The Graduate School of SJTU will review the application information and materials, and the approver will assign a "personnel number" (Student ID). Approved applicants can apply for SJTU jAccount account with assigned student ID and other personal information. Application website: https://jaccount.sjtu.edu.cn/profile/#/apply

Course selection

1. Time: 12:00, Sep 12th, 2021--20:00, Sep 26th, 2021.

2. Course Add/Drop: Login https://yjs.sjtu.edu.cn with your JAccount, and enter the "Cultivation - I want to select courses - Unplanned course selection" page to select courses. For the selected courses, you can click "Drop" button to drop the class. All courses selected by postgraduate students who are not from SJTU are "unplanned course selections". For the relevant operation guide, please refer to the notice announcement on the course selection page. Beyond the add/drop period, no course enrollment, dropping, and/or retaking is allowed.

3. For course schedule, please login http://yjs.sjtu.edu.cn with your jAccount to check your

personal course schedule and attend classes on time. For the website information of the teaching class, please login CANVAS system (http://oc.sjtu.edu.cn) a few days after you complete your course selection.

Tuitions and fees payment

1. Fees for auditing courses: 820 RMB/credit for master students and 1,260 RMB/credit for doctoral students.

2. Payment method: remittance (account: https://www.jdcw.sjtu.edu.cn). After successful payment, an electronic invoice will be issued by the Finance Department.

3. After successful payment, the Graduate School will check the payment information and confirm whether the course selection is successful in the system.

4. The course fee will not be refunded if the course is dropped after successful payment. For special reasons, you can apply for and change courses with the same credit after approval.

Transcript

After the course is completed, you can print the transcript at the Graduate Education Service Center, Graduate School, SJTU. Transcript is usually available one month after the beginning of the next semester.

Miscellaneous

1. Professional courses of School of Management, School of Foreign Languages, School of Law and part-time postgraduate courses offered on weekends are not acceptable for audit.

2. Auditors are not entitled to the rights and interests as SJTU students other than to audit courses. During the audit period, they should abide by the provisions of SJTU campus management and teaching management. If there is any violation, we will notify your institution; If the case is serious, the qualification of auditing in SJTU will be cancelled.

3. SJTU does not provide accommodation for auditors. Within one week after auditing procedures are completed, students can go to the Network Information Center to apply for a campus card (20 RMB/card).

4. Partner institutions are requested to count the information of the students who need to audit the course, fill in and send the attachment to joeyjiang@sjtu.edu.cn. Please also attach the scanned copy of the introduction letter.
